Read 1000 Books! 

Our library has an exciting program that encourages families to read 1,000 books with their children before they enter kindergarten. 

Parents: You can create an account for yourself first and then you can add additional accounts for each of your children. That way you will have the ability to easily monitor your child's activity without having to login as each child!

Read 100 Books Before Graduation! 

Our library has an exciting program that encourages teens to read 100 books before they graduate high school. 

Teens entering 9th-12th grade in Richland County can participate. 

You can create an account for yourself and you will have the ability to easily track your progress. Log every book you read, books you choose for enjoyment and even your assigned school reading!   Reading 100 books can improve reading achievement, reduce stress, result in higher test scores, and help cure boredom!  

Lit Happens!

This program is designed for adults to encourage life-long reading habits.

Choose one book each month using the provided Mission prompt.  Log a book in each month of 2025 and receive an SRCL tote bag (while supplies last)!   We will meet on Facebook the 3rd of each month from 5:30-6:00 to share and discuss our books.
